In 1991 our club through Vocational Service Director, Rotarian Ric Stephenson initiated a
"Future Teacher of California" $1,000 scholarships. The monetary award is given once the
student begins student teaching or internship for a teacher education degree program, that club awards
$1,000 to the student. Each year we continue to award this scholarship.

   
Teacher of the Year Appreciation Award
presented to our club  year 2002 by the Capistrano Unified School District
and the Capistrano Unified Education Association.

at the Distinction Level to the Second Annual
Teacher Recognition Banquet
of the Saddleback Valley Unified School District

Inaugural Teacher Recognition Dinner honors our club as
Founding Executive Sponsor. The event was held by
Saddleback Valley Unified School District. Bob
McQueen led our club in helping to organize and collect
donations from Corporate Sponsors and was also honored
with a special sculpture. A special thanks to Bob!
