Our club is very proud to have  sponsored singers each year  from Mission Viejo High School
competing as District Semi-Finalists at the UCI Concert Hall each March.

  SPEECH CONTEST

Year 2000
Last week (February 2000) we hosted our annual Rotary
Speech Contest with this year's topic being: PLAN TO THE FUTURE: ACT WITH CONTINUITY, CONSISTENCY AND
CREDIBILITY. Our three judges were from the Toastmaster Club. It was a very close contest. Our winner was Jennifer Ping who
gave a very animated speech and Jennifer will compete in our area contest in March and the winner will move on to our District
Conets in April and that winner will receive a $500.00 prize and be a guest at our District Conference in May. All three
contestants did outstandingly and our hats are off to not only Jennifer but Jerrod and Jenny as well!
