For the past several months, World Kids Voyage and friends have been working very hard and often under difficult circumstances to build a one room school house for the rural community in a small farming village named Cangrejo, Nicaragua. All along in the journey, we have been right there  laying our brick. This year our club has donated over $1,000 to the project.(1999-2000).
Note:Numerous wonderful new schools in Canada and the USA have also signed up with World Kids Voyage shinning light and love beyond border. Here is a recent message from Eric to our club:
"Please convey my sincerest words of gratitude to Mission Viejo Rotary for putting their brick in the wall. One of our plans is to use a wall in the school as a special commemorative plaque on behalf of all the angels that make this project a winner."

UPDATE: March 15, 2000 The little school that could-did!
In defiance to insurmountable challenges, we have accomplished our mission!
"Escuela Mundo de Los Ninos" in Cangrejo, Nicaragua is up and running in full
capacity. " Captain Eric
