                      VETERANS MEMORIAL

In 1995 The Rotary Club of Mission Viejo's President George L Cooper and Past President's Fred Buckhalter and Rotarians Norman Miller, Roger Ramsbottom and Danian Hopp became part of the Veteran's Memorial Task Force and participated in the planning, executing and dedication of this very fine memorial located outside the entrance to the Norman P Miller Community  and Senior Center. Our Rotary Club joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the then  Mayor Joe Lowe and city staff members as part of the task force who met throughout the planning and construction of the memorial.

The Memorial is dedicated to honoring residents of the community who served in the United States Armed Services to fight for freedom and preserve the blessings of liberty and peace for future generations of Americans.

Shown below are a series of  photographs taken in 1995, some of which show our Rotary members.
