| In 1995 The
Rotary Club of Mission Viejo's President George L Cooper and Past
President's Fred Buckhalter and Rotarians Norman Miller, Roger Ramsbottom
and Danian Hopp became part of the Veteran's Memorial Task Force and
participated in the planning, executing and dedication of this very fine
memorial located outside the entrance to the Norman P Miller Community
and Senior Center. Our Rotary Club joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars and
the then Mayor Joe Lowe and city staff members as part of the task force who met throughout the planning and construction of the memorial.
The Memorial is dedicated to honoring
residents of the community who served in the United States Armed Services to
fight for freedom and preserve the blessings of liberty and peace for future
generations of Americans.

On November 11, 1995 at 2pm,Rotarian Danian Hopp
was the Master of Ceremonies
and Rotarians
Fred Buckhalter and George Cooper dedicated the memorial.
