A Cancelled Check Made out and signed by
the Founder of Rotary-Paul P Harris
The reverse reads: Deposited by Schiele Coal and Oil
company. Silvester Schiele was Paul Harris' best friend
and the first president of the Rotary Club of Chicago. The first Rotary Club
(and service) club in the world. It was found framed in our archives and
probably was presented to the Rotary Club of Mission Viejo on this charter
night.
